• Managed powertrain cooling engineering, including interaction with various teams and suppliers, leading to successful development of motors (400W/600W/850W/1000W) for BMW with in-house wire harness development. Reviewed project goals monthly, provided technical leadership, and conducted technical project management, acting as single window of communication between departments.
• Developed battery cooling fan for electric vehicle 12V 90W BLDC Motor for Honda, ensuring products had top management support and providing clear instructions to engineering teams.

• Contributed to Mahindra Reva R&D and Validation team during launch of the Mahindra e2o model.
• Led team of 5 engineers in prototyping, designing, developing, testing, and validating electric vehicle traction motors. Involved in design of IPM Version of 72V Traction motor for Mahindra vehicle platforms, as well as 60 kW and 80 kW powertrain development.
• Managed supplier quality and vendor development for powertrain, controller, and other components for traction motors and wiper motors. Worked closely with validation team, handling failures, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and planning and preparing new test facilities according to automotive test standards.

• Joined as company's first employee after CEO, instrumental in team building, facility planning, vendor visits, and supplier quality evaluation for establishing US$200K plant from scratch.
• Led technology transfer for hub motor manufacturing from China to India, managed team of 30 (including 5 engineers and 25 production technicians), overseeing production planning, after-sales service, and general administration.
• Developed 250W and 800W BLDC Hub motors for e-bikes and e-cycles tailored to Indian road conditions, and spearheaded development of low-priced indigenous electric cycle prototype for Indian market. Efficiently resolved operational challenges within tight deadlines, fostered effective working relationships, and facilitated team communications and collaboration.

• Played a pivotal role as one of the initial employees in the company, responsible for establishing R&D infrastructure and implementing standardized technical and quality procedures for in-house hub motor production.
• Conducted product training for dealers and service teams, managed a team of 4 (including 2 engineers and 2 technicians), and drove electric motor development, including involvement in EV motor controller development and handling electric vehicle tests on Indian road conditions. Additionally, conducted supplier quality audits for electric bikes and component companies, expanded cross-functional organizational capacity through collaboration across departments, cross-trained existing employees to enhance team agility and performance, and maintained detailed records of daily progress for continuous improvement purposes.

• Completed academic courses in Electric drives, electrical machines, and BLDC Motors for NPTC employees , demonstrating expertise in these areas.
• Provided project guidance to BITS Pilani students and utilized instructional technologies for engaging in-class and online instruction.
• Additionally, delivered presentations on Electric vehicles, Brushless DC Motors, and Electrical engineering using PowerPoint and Google Classroom technology, while mentoring undergraduate and graduate students for education and career preparedness.

• Led design and development efforts for automotive and e-bike applications, including water pump motors for Hyundai motors and 250W BLDC geared hub motors for e-cycle applications.
• Utilized JMAG Studio and Motor Pro for electromagnetic analysis during motor design, conducted engineering tests, validation, and testing of models, and generated technical documentation to facilitate product development collaboration. Additionally, performed technical business development for BLDC motor products, setting timelines and coordinating deliverables for R&D projects.

• Conducted performance prediction and validation of BLDC products using Magnet 2D for electromagnetic analysis, optimizing design through parameterization.
• Achieved cost reduction in production by optimizing magnetic material grade, demonstrating critical thinking in problem-solving, and effectively utilizing Microsoft Word and other software tools for documentation and communication.
