Sr. Supervisor-Dry Gas Seal System Engineering will report to Engineering Manager – Global DGSS Engineering, Function of this role is Managing End-to-End process of Gas Seal Support System (GSS) from Order intake to complete engineering deliverables for customer approval, procurement, and manufacturing releases. Accountable for complete ownership of Post Order engineering output to enable all cross functional project/contract managers, supply chain, manufacturing sites. Motivate and develop engineering teams and enable smooth operation of business, facilitating growth, communication, evaluation of their performance and enhance their skill matrix, hiring and training of new.

• Leading team of 5 Engineers for Dry Gas Seal Support System Post Order Engineering.
• Devised and implemented processes and procedures to streamline operations

Engineering deliverables, technical clarifications, Comments and Deviations, value added engineering solutions, technical clarification during customer approval cycle, worked with supply chain team for identifying new vendors and technical alignment of critical components during execution stage. Assisted advance procurement, communications to Operation / Contract Manager / Project Manager and manufacturing site leaders.
• Accountable for full compliance to customer specification during Post-Order Engineering deliverables.
• Responsible for Clean order Intake to post order engineering team for seamless execution of Post Order Engineering deliverables
• Preparing and maintain daily dashboard, weekly and monthly reports as required to achieve desired results.
• Co-ordinate with all the stakeholders, understand & accept the required service level for End-to-End engineering solutions
• Full Application Engineering for Gas Seal Support Systems –Product Selection /Sizing of Flanges, Piping, Heater, Booster, Filter, KOF, Control valve, Manual Valves, Booster, Gas phase analysis using Software’s (HYSYS, CHEMCAD) and through manual calculations.
• System Instrumentation and Components Datasheets Preparation and review, Catalogues review and Instrument selection.
• Reviewing Suppliers Quote and technical alignment for Instruments and equipment’s in Gas Seal Support System. Familiar with Instruments and equipment’s supplier documents, Catalogues and model no’s.
• PSV, Rupture Disc, Flow element, Restriction Orifice, Thermo-well wake frequency Calculation/Selection, Control Valve, PCV, ON/OFF Valve calculation and selection using CONVAL and Manual Tools.
• Vent Study for Gas Seal support systems as per API 692 using HYSYS.LABY Flow and seal leakage calculations
• P&ID, GAD review & BOM review
• Familiar with API 614 and API 692.
• Instrument hook-up diagrams and material list preparation and review.
• Electrical wiring diagram, Alarm logic diagrams, Instrument index preparation and review.
• Painting specification preparation and review as per NACE, ISO and customer specifications.
• Fabrication and Weld map drawings review.
• Review of Technical offer and align in post order engineering
• Tag Plate/Name Plate Drawing preparation and review.
• Spare parts list preparation
• RCA report preparation and evaluation.
• Cause & Effect, Control narratives preparation and review.
• Involving in HAZOP Meeting to highlight key points with customer and internal stakeholders.
• Customer site visits for troubleshooting. (Visited Qatar Gas Plant, Qatar)
• MDR alignment with production engineer.
• Quality Plan /ITP preparation and review
• FAT/SAT procedure preparation and review
• Installation, Operation & Maintenance manual preparation and review
• Preparation and review of ASME Section VIII Div 1, Div 2, PED and Australian standards calculations using PV elite and manual calculations.
• Familiar with ASME B31.3, B16.5, B16.9, B16.11.
• Verification of vendor WPS, PQR, WPQ and align against project requirements.
• Verification of Customer NDE requirements.
• Verification of PMI requirements.
• Engineering change management.

• Engineered Static equipment and Responsible for Certification of company CE/U Stamp and ISO 9001.
• Ensured all design input relating to device are appropriate and satisfying needs of user.
• Converted Design inputs into Design sketches and drawings in accordance with applicable standards and codes.
• Prepared and reviewed 3d modelling and 2d drawings.
• Prepared and verified design calculation meeting requirements of standards (ASME section viii div 1 and ASME PVHO-1-2016, ASME b 16.11, ASME b16.9, ASME b16.5, ASME 36.10, NFPA99 and PED 2014/68/EU).
• Performed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS 16.0 and simulate stress levels are within limits as per code.
• Attended ASME design audit (periodic and yearly)and got pressure vessel calculations and ASME drawings cleared by AI(authorized inspector)
• Attended PED design examination audit and got pressure vessel technical file cleared by PED auditor.
• Prepared Technical file for CE marking.
• Led ISO 9001 certification efforts for organization.
• Engaged in supplier audit and reviewed supplier process and technical capabilities.
• Prepared weld map for all pressure and non-pressure weld joints and ensured it meets code requirements.
• Prepared ITP.
• Coordinated with Quality, Procurement and Production team for order execution.
• Reviewed WPS (welding procedure qualification), WPQR (welding procedure qualification record), and WPQ (welding personal qualification) as per PED (EN ISO 15614-1, EN ISO 15609, and EN ISO 9606-1).
• Ensured periodic design review meetings are conducted and documented.
• Ensured design validation performed under defined condition for initial production satisfying requirement of user and its intended functions.
• Prepared Technical delivery condition (TDC) for all items purchased.
