Sr. Supervisor-Dry Gas Seal System Engineering will report to Engineering Manager – Global DGSS Engineering, Function of this role is Managing End-to-End process of Gas Seal Support System (GSS) from Order intake to complete engineering deliverables for customer approval, procurement, and manufacturing releases. Accountable for complete ownership of Post Order engineering output to enable all cross functional project/contract managers, supply chain, manufacturing sites. Motivate and develop engineering teams and enable smooth operation of business, facilitating growth, communication, evaluation of their performance and enhance their skill matrix, hiring and training of new.

  • Leading team of 5 Engineers for Dry Gas Seal Support System Post Order Engineering.

  • Full Application Engineering for Gas Seal Support Systems –Product Selection /Sizing of Flanges, Piping, Heater, Booster, Filter, KOF, Control valve, Manual Valves, Booster, Gas phase analysis using Software’s (HYSYS, CHEMCAD) and through manual calculations.
  • System Instrumentation and Components Datasheets Preparation and review, Catalogues review and Instrument selection.
  • Reviewing Suppliers Quote and technical alignment for Instruments and equipment’s in Gas Seal Support System. Familiar with Instruments and equipment’s supplier documents, Catalogues and model no’s.
  • PSV, Rupture Disc, Flow element, Restriction Orifice, Thermo-well wake frequency Calculation/Selection, Control Valve, PCV, ON/OFF Valve calculation and selection using CONVAL and Manual Tools.
  • Vent Study for Gas Seal support systems as per API 692 using HYSYS.LABY Flow and seal leakage calculations
  • P&ID, GAD review & BOM review
  • Familiar with API 614 and API 692.
  • Instrument hook-up diagrams and material list preparation and review.
  • Electrical wiring diagram, Alarm logic diagrams, Instrument index preparation and review.
  • Painting specification preparation and review as per NACE, ISO and customer specifications.
