1. Overall Functional Profile and Role

In the educational institutions mentioned above you will be responsible for

§ Providing administrative leadership and support and contributing in the development of the institutions as leading institutions in their respective domains.

§ Working very closely with the MCF/TSM management in launching new academic initiatives, institutions and programmes as may be decided.

§ Helping in realising the Group’s vision of consolidating the existing/new institutions into a University under the most appropriate regulatory framework.

§ Undertaking such other activities in pursuit of the aforesaid goals.

1. Detailed Responsibilities

a. Managing the entire spectrum of HR activities encompassing recruitment, training, performance management, compliance, and retention and for introducing best practices in HR.

b. Managing the Administration function efficiently across the institutions. Scope of work will include infrastructure Management and Maintenance, campus upkeep and all processes that support the core operations of the Institutions.

c. Supporting ideation of strategic growth initiatives and taking responsibility for implementation of the growth strategy in the areas of Infrastructure, compliance, regulations and approvals, HR, and other aspects as essential.

d. Fostering positive relationships which are beneficial for the Institutions with various external stakeholders including Government agencies, Universities, UGC, AICTE, accreditation agencies, Industry bodies, alumni, donors and local community.

e. Proper oversight of student hostels and student dining facilities to ensure their smooth, complaint-free functioning.

f. Working closely with the academic staff to maintain a high-level of discipline amongst students.

g. Ensuring that the various programmes /courses are conducted smoothly through effective coordination with the faculty, academic heads and students and by ensuring effective administrative support.

h. Facilitating smooth conduct of off-campus academic activities such as Rural Developmental Immersion Programme (RDIP), out-bound team building activities and overseas study tour at TSM.

i. Effectively coordinating with the head(s) of the constituent institutions and academic staff for the timely and efficient submission of data to accreditation/ranking agencies such as NAAC, NBA, AACSB, NIRF etc.

j. Help building and nurturing relationships with companies with a view to strengthen placement and MDP activities at TSM and other institutions.

k. Supporting the admissions team in enhancing the quality and regional diversity of the students admitted, particularly in TSM.

l. Managing the smooth and orderly conduct of institutional activities such as convocation etc.

m. Timely procurement of quality materials and services at competitive rates as required for the smooth and orderly functioning of the institutions, particularly at TSM.

n. Identifying and mitigating risks related to operations, compliance, and institutional reputation.

o. Ensuring the effective integration of technology in administrative and educational processes.

p. Maintaining oversight of all aspects of the academic institutions that impact its performance, working and reputation by coordinating with the concerned authorities in each Institution and with the Management.

q. Ensuring that the group activities are carried out in a cost-effective manner.
