Project Details : Underground Metro Rail Project (Colaba – Bandra – Seepz) line is a part of the metro system under construction in Mumbai.
Package 05 under 4 station (Dharavi, BKC, Vidyanagari, Santa Cruz Metro station. Bandra Kurla complex (BKC) metro station is going to be a very important hub and it will be a key interchange. Once completed, it will be an Asia's largest metro station of (450m long).
Roles and responsibilities:
Designing and Detailing of Architectural Drawings :
- Ensure that all works are carried out with specific standards as per contract, actual requirements, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
- Revising drawings and layout to accommodate changes and enhancements.
- Preparing detailed working drawings for all architectural works and shop drawings for execution on job site.
- Reviewing drawings and BIM models as per structural, architectural, MEP and SWC requirements.
- Execute proper control & coordination with design consultants for cost-effective & timely delivery of designs to match with project schedule.
- Ensure Architectural all volumes submission and review Architectural Layouts, Station Finishes, Station Detail, Traffic Integration Drawings, Landscape Drawings, and Signage and Architectural Material Specifications.
- Prepare road reinstatement plans and co-ordinate with utility departments based on all civil services, such as sewerage system, SWD system, electrical utilities, water pipelines, power cables, gas lines and co-ordinate with planning department to prepare traffic diversion schemes.
- Preparing as-build drawings
Coordination and Drawing Inventory:
- Manages department, project-wide initiatives, activities, continuously strives towards delivering exceptional high quality, and takes full accountability, responsibility for project and departmental goals.
- Task involves ensuring all architectural works are completed according to approved drawings and specifications, and all interface details with system wide contractors are carried out according to combined service drawings, submissions, approvals, and daily site activities.
- Lead and coordinate with BIM team to prepare BIM model in compliance with all interface requirements.
- Collaborate with construction team to provide necessary architectural drawings and detail-oriented execution based on architectural drawing criteria and detail input.
- Goal is to create schedule program for start and completion of all architectural works, aligning with master schedule.
- Role involves coordinating, monitoring, and controlling progress and quality of work by architectural subcontractors, ensuring no conflicts, and delegating tasks to general workers and supervisors.
- Task involves coordinating with suppliers to determine project requirements and schedule delivery, as well as ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to site.
- Arrange for testing of architectural materials. Coordinate with consultants to obtain necessary approvals for materials, shop drawings, and method statements. Additionally, ensure that all architectural materials undergo testing to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Individual collaborates with consultants to resolve technical and detailing issues in architectural work, regularly coordinates with clients, attends project meetings, and reports progress to project manager.
- Project is monitored and controlled on time, ensuring any hindrances are resolved. Clearances from departments, such as RFI, are provided, and non-compliances are addressed.
Financial Excellence and Claims Management:
- Proficient in utilizing software for accurate BOQ calculations and maintaining detailed site reports. Skilled in identifying potential cost discrepancies and effectively managing quantity control throughout project execution.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in quantity and cost. Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving claims and variations in architectural projects.
