Prior to the navy, I obtained 3 years of ski patrol and mountain rescue. With 167 individual emergency saves on North lake Tahoe. After college I received a government grant to conduct a personal cancer research project at university of Reno on a chemo therapy alternative utilizing micro stress induced apoptosis. Managed 12 sailors onboard the USS Rafael Peralta for daily maintenance, multiple special evolution such as search and rescue, flight deck operations, underway replenishment, small boat evolution, anti terror force protection and much more. My performance and leadership lead to the ships successful seamanship, aviation, and force protection certifications.
