Work History

11B Infantryman

United States Army
08.2021 - 02.2025

I have not seen any combat, this was conducted in a "controlled" training environment.

  • I was responsible for helping new soldiers learn the job of an infantryman. Was responsible for teaching classes on battle drills, how their weapon system works, how to properly maintain and fix weapon systems used daily, relay information to lower enlisted soldiers.
  • I moved up in my fireteam and squad by showing an outstanding ability to lead, help, and educate soldiers on their daily tasks, and field duties. I received multiple Army Achievement Medals during my time in Europe for stepping up during the absence of leadership and taking control of a fireteam multiple times, meanwhile also doing my own tasks and responsibilities.
  • I've constructed and camouflaged infantry positions and equipment to prevent detection by enemies, which also included the use and employment of anti-drone equipment, use and employment of anti-tank rocket propelled munitions, counter-surveillance, and use of large scale communications via radios.
  • Due to my competency and leadership skills, I started floating around my platoon to fill in various positions such as a Anti-Tank Team Leader during our deployment verification rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center in Fort Polk Louisiana, a fill in team leader multiple times during our time in Europe as a part of Operation European Assure, Deter, Reinforce, which also included multiple Joint-Training exercises with American Allies. Later we moved to Estonia where we were a part of a Task Force (VOIT) in conjunction with an American M142 HIMARS team.
  • My battalion was also deployed to Ashville North Carolina to help clean up, and distribute supplies to the citizens affected by Hurricane Helene. We moved in small 6 man teams to hard to reach places to deliver food, water, baby items, hygiene items, and heating supplies with the use of our Infantry Squad Vehicles (ISV).
  • I was a driver and maintainer of 4 Infantry Squad Vehicles for my Platoon, which included obviously driving, doing weekly maintenance checks and work for my platoon, and often helped out the rest of my company with any issues they had after I was finished with my platoons vehicles. I was one of 3 soldiers who were also given special vehicle training to drive Field Litter Ambulances, and LMTV's for the company, and for our Battalion medical team.
  • I am also properly trained in combat and civilian first aid, and disaster response. I have a Combat Life Saver certification, and was my medical teams right hand man if they needed help. I've also administered real world fluids through the use of Intravenous lines during our 3rd time in the Joint Readiness Training Center in Fort Polk, Louisiana when our medic was having severe heat exhaustion. I believed that due to my training, we were able to keep multiple soldiers from experiencing extreme heat strokes, this included our medic.
  • Towards the end of my contract, I was handpicked by my Company Command team for a platoon Radio Telephone Operator (RTO) position, and was commended and liked due to my skills of being able to program and maintain millions of dollars worth of equipment. I was responsible for each piece of equipment for a platoon (42 soldiers). During this time as a Radio Telephone Operator, I learned how to program and encrypt radios, fix or troubleshoot radio equipment, and interact with various high ranking leaders.

The reason I left the United States Army was due to injuries sustained during training to my knees, and shoulders.

  • Responsible for inventory, scheduling, opening/closing the store, cleaning, oil changes, engine/cabin intake filter replacements, clocking out and helping customers with specific vehicle issues, adjusting tire pressure, and ordering inventory. My manager also had a big help in these tasks, but dealt more with the owner/general manager, and the store day-to-day tasks fell to me.
  • Generated repeat business through exceptional customer service. I have received hand written letters of gratitude from multiple customers, and raises from my manager/owner due to my work proficiency.
  • Monitored cash intake and deposit records, increasing accuracy, and reducing discrepancies.
  • Completed regular inventory counts to verify stock levels, address discrepancies, and forecast future needs.
  • Offered hands-on and over the phone assistance to customers, assessing their needs, and maintaining current knowledge of customer needs/requests.
  • Established team priorities, maintained schedules and monitored performance. I was in charge of making schedules, speaking with employee's about the state of the store, and how we can do better.
  • Set aggressive targets for employees to drive company success and strengthen sales. When me and the manager arrived, the store was underperforming, and was subject to closure by the owner. Me and my manager singlehandedly worked 50+ hour work weeks to revive the store, hire competent staff, and in less than 1 year, we had a steady customer base, and was the 2nd best performing store in the Oil Express chain.
  • I was also responsible for area/store beautification such as landscaping, repainting area's with cracking/faded paint, broken lights, broken bay doors, and fixing broken furniture in the store.
