The ZnO nanoparticles were prepared by precipitation method and the photocatalytic degradation of Olive-Green SG dye was studied for different process parameters like pH, initial dye concentration and catalyst weight. In addition to degrading the colour, this process reduced the COD of wastewater as much as 50%. The result suggests that photocatalytic degradation of Olive-Green SG dye wastewater using ZnO nanoparticles prepared by precipitation method can be proposed and developed as treatment method for coloured dye wastewater.
The development of a fire – retardant viscose staple fiber by the addition of a nitrogen containing compound along with the phosphorus – based fire – retardant additive or look for an alternate phosphorus – based additive with improved performance in either the dope stage or a topical application during the finishing stage, resulting in maintaining the LOI value of the fiber, while lowering the additive loading thus, decreasing the cost of manufacturing the fiber and increasing the mechanical properties of the fiber.
