Corporate Action Process

• Verifying the allocation of dividend withholding tax rate for the Pershing Client accounts based on their country of residency and treaty document list
• Validating the future dividend and interest announcement from the GSS data mart Swift announcement and DTC depositary web portal on the daily basis
• Validating the daily dividend accruals entries which will be done on the record date in Rumba Mainframe accounting system
• For bond securities, interest and principal rates will be updated on pay date based on the DTC depository rate and released those payment entries on same date
• Reconcile the dividend payment between Pershing account and client accounts and clearing the payment breaks
• Ensure the daily task is been completed in my team and confirmation sent to my manager and sending One note checklist for approval on daily basis.
• Championed best practices in quality assurance, consistently delivering error-free work products that exceeded client expectations.

Exception Processing - Asset Movement Operations

• Creates and maintains functional documentation/specification which includes SOP, PNP, FMEA & process lifecycle
• Expert in document verification procedures by handling customer's request for Account opening & Maintenance, Automated clearing house (ACH Setup instructions & periodic instructions (distributions, Contribution, income) RMD instructions for retirement products
• Maker of trading account opening (initiation level)
• Maintenance of existing trading account (change in address, beneficiary, registration) issuing Registered Representatives(RR) for IBD's after verification Checker, maker, approver of all Asset Movements processed (Standing & Periodic instruction)
• Create & approve the ACH setup for client like periodic distributions/contributions, pay income, RMD, withholding tax details
• Responsible for ACH reports like mapping the client's instructions from his Old/existing accounts to a new account without any PPWK

Account Transfer: Client onboarding & servicing

• Navigated multiple programs & trainings with ease, enhancing efficiency in daily operations.
• Opening all types of brokerage accounts for clients based on registrations and Products which advisor prefers them
• Brokerage accounts like Retail (Individual, Joint, Trust, Corporation, Partnership) Retirement (IRA, Beneficiary, Roth) & other plan types (401kPSP, DSP) are opened as per client request
• We help client in their asset movement like CUSIP, shares, cash on both incoming and outgoing
• Maker of the trading account which is to be transferred from one contra to another contra (outgoing transfer)
• Checker & approver for all asset requested by client (incoming & internal transfer)
• We do KYC activity to verify customer details like Name, DOB, Client signature, SSN & other details between the setup & customer's request.
