• State Standards Team for the Setting of Biology Cut Scores (TN Dept of Education), 06/01/10, Worked to identify End of course scoring scale and determined cut scores for questions starting with basic content and progressing to analytical understanding.
• TCAP ACH/EOC Biology and Chemistry Bias Review (Pearson/TN Dept of Education), 06/01/16, Reviewed biology and chemistry End of Course questions to ensure each student had an equal opportunity to comprehend and answer questions on the exam.
• TCAP Teacher Committee, TNReady Biology Item Review (Pearson/TN Dept of Education), 06/01/19, Read through 200 TNReady Biology questions to ensure the questions met the appropriate criteria for Tennessee State Standards and rigor.
• Curriculum Conference in Science and Mathematics-Presenter, 10/01/09, Chosen by Arkansas State University CSI Camp faculty to attend conference in Little Rock, AR. Presented procedures I developed for a CSI Investigation Activity that was conducted by the Biology II students at Halls High School with the fifth grade students at Halls Elementary School. Science activity involved STEM concepts to increase interest in science.
