roles and responsibilities

  • Operationally responsible for Critical Incident Management on 24 x 7 on call rotation basis.
  • Manages and coordinates activities across all technology domains and 3rd parties during critical incidents including ensuring correct resources have been allocated to the incident.
  • Establish and manage technical conference and provide input to the management bridge.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communications to internal and approved external stakeholders including management.
  • Minimizes impact of incidents or events on customer experience. Ensures end to end support, coordination and control of Incidents.
  • Ensuring a consistent method of Incident logging is practiced and ensure Post Incident Report (PIR) is delivered with details of incident and corrective actions.
  • Act as a single point of contact for the customer and the business during critical incident.
  • Incident Manager Team management, including coaching, mentoring and HR activities.
  • Support Service Level Management with continual improvements activities towards the incident management process.
