Communication

I thrive on the concept of having open and honest communication with my peers, subordinates, and administration. Being open and honest has helped me gain knowledge of workplace efficiency and encourages people to come to me when certain issues arise.

Leadership

I am the type of supervisor who leads from the front, NOT lead from the rear. I do not ask the people I am responsible for to do something I am not willing to do myself. I will answer calls, do reports, and still make arrests from time to time. More importantly I talk to my subordinates and check on them daily and try to take an interest in their personal life not just their law enforcement life. I am an instructor at the academy for Traffic Stops, DUI, and Stress Management. I believe that by helping at the academy I am helping to groom future law enforcement officers to be better prepared for their careers.
