A Mechanical Engineer with over 20+ years of rich & qualitative experience in Production Planning control, Process Engineering, Process Safety in FMCG Industry. Currently working with Kumaran Specialty Private Limited, as Production Manager/Plant Manager Specialty Fats and Oils Division handling Production, Process and Product development of various oils and specialty Fats. Ensured compliance of various quality techniques such as GMP & Quality Systems (ISO & HACCP) by maintenance of appropriate requisite documentation/ records. Excellent communication with effective analytical & team management skills. Exposure of working in the SAP Environment.

• PPC Planning day-to-day activities, production schedules and allocating work for achieving of monthly production targets. Monitoring production, keeping control over activities and analyzing processes for stabilization thereby ensuring smooth operations.
• Product/ Process Improvement Ensuring complete in-process quality control and continuous improvement in process capabilities. Monitoring routine maintenance, and troubleshooting for equipment’s on a regular basis for higher productivity and efficiency. Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures to avoid the same.
• Documentation/Quality Compliance Ensure compliance of various quality measures by maintenance of appropriate requisite documentation/ records. Executing QC tools for process engineering and working towards zero food safety complaints by implementing ISO 9001:2008, HACCP, ISO22000:2005 and comply with standards of Food safety & GMP.
• Process Safety: Ensure safe manufacturing practice inside the factory Monitor the quality of PPE and coordinate with purchase for selection of PPE Effective implementation of work permits systems before executing the works Safety awareness created to employee thro Tool box talks, Display boards, Safety competitions and Training Implement Emergency preparedness plan Hazard and Risk analysis were done for the plants to improve the safety conditions inside the plant.
• People Management: Active member in a large team of Engineers so as to optimize equipment utilization. Conducting training programs to enhance the skills of the subordinates pertaining to quality & Food safety implementation and compliance as a result to improve productivity.
