1. IT Asset Management: This involves maintaining and updating
inventory using a CMDB tool (such as Service Now), tracking assets,
performing break-fix maintenance, generating CMDB reports, and
assessing asset disposal or scrap.
2. Incident and Configuration Management: I have experience in
incident and configuration management, which involves managing IT
activities, handling escalations, updating lost or stolen assets in the
Service Now tool, providing VPN tokens for secure access, and validating
asset information with the end-user support (EUS) team.
3. Procurement: I am responsible for spare parts and additional PC
procurement, as well as managing the procurement process for leased
equipment and initiating buyback processes for leased or purchased
assets. I gather IT business and operations requirements, collaborate with
vendors, validate vendor quotes, and ensure quality checks while creating
purchase orders.
4. IT Governance and Compliance: Conduct IT compliance
assessments and assurance assessments within the organization. This
includes validating vendor quotes, ensuring compliance with IT
governance policies and decisions, and communicating governance
activities, policies, and decisions to IT management and business
leadership.
5. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for various
projects and operational activities, provide IT vendor information to
customers and ensure smooth collaboration with vendors during
procurement and project execution.
6. Reporting and Analysis: I prepare reports, analysis, and
suggestions based on customer requirements, maintain and download
complete asset information from Service Now, and create reports for new
hires and existing users.
7. IT Community and Workflow: You are involved in creating and
managing IT community platforms, workflow processes, and library
resources to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the
organization.
8. Software Asset Management (SAM): This involves tracking and
controlling software assets from acquisition to disposal to ensure
compliance with licensing agreements, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
SAM encompasses various activities, including software inventory,
license management, compliance assessments, and ongoing
optimization.
9. Software Inventory: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all
software applications and licenses deployed across the organization. This
includes tracking information such as software title, version, edition,
installation date, license type, and number of licenses.
