Spent 8 years in the field as a Site Manager / foreman for heavy construction, demo, etc
I saved all my contacts since day one in the construction / concrete cutting / trades industries.
Penhall Company bought out the place I was the lead man at for many years. They found out I have 1500 construction contacts made me a sales account manager.
I sold 2.3 mill first year and did 2.5 my second year with excellent GP% I was tracking 3.5mil for the year 2025 when we parted ways.
I am very good and enjoy doing my own research hunting down and tracking new opportunities. I successfully locked down all the mega sites and big money construction projects in my territory. I hear the majority of everything construction wise though checking in frequently with my connections.

I made all my own connections, estimates, take offs, sent proposals, scheduled the work, Order dumpsters, lulls, lifts, etc when needed coordinated with my crews, communicate through out day to make sure jobs are smooth and productions are good, If scope change I create change order and discuss with customers, If jobs required a sub-contract I reviewed them and sent them to senior contract managers for signature, I did all my own billing, Set up lunch and learns few times a month, Regularly did Field service safety observations, I am familiar with PTPs JHA and all the documentation, certifications, sequence plans etc...
