PURPOSE

Responsible for leading Operations staff and assisting in the areas of verifying the completeness of server built. You will ensure that all personnel are adequately trained, and that training has been properly documented. Able to assume overall operational duties of the area in the absence of the Service Operations Supervisor as may be required. Able to assist in the daily operations of the department and maintain an organizational work area and ensure the cleanliness of all areas assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides daily work assignments to assigned personnel to meet established production goals.
  
• Resolves all functional issues (Quality, Processing, Repair, etc.) as they arise.
  
• Ensure transactions into QMS are properly entered to provide accurate data, which provides traceability of material to chassis produced.
  
• Provide accurate and timely departmental reports.
  
• Monitor the performance of staff and provide retraining or coaching as necessary
  
• Drive & Maintain 5s Metrics & Drive a Safe Working Environment.
  
• Lead production to meet TOS targets for designated work stream.
  
• Promote a culture of process excellence through exceeding quality metrics.
  
• Meet daily & weekly goals for production output.
  
• Provide instruction and training to assigned personnel to proper procedures and regulations ensuring appropriate documentation has been completed timely and accurately.
  
• Train and motivate employees through effective communication.
  

Encouraged classroom debates by integrating them into lessons, actively soliciting input, asking open-ended questions, and using techniques to track student participation.

Improved student understanding by incorporating real-world examples and case studies into lectures.

Supervised graduate students on their research projects, providing guidance and mentorship for the successful completion of thesis work.
