
Most of my achievements I received while working in law enforcement. I have my tier one leadership and T3 instructor certificates. I am CPR certified and first responder.
I started working with the Putnam County Sheriff’s office November 13th 2023 after taking about a year off to be a stay at home dad. I have worked here for 2 years now. My duties include:
Answering the phone and talking with the public and answering questions.
Maintaining the safety and security of the facility.
During this time I was prompted to a training sergeant and interim shift sergeant for a time.
I have my Tier one leadership completion certificate and 3t course certification.
Trim carpentry, baseboards, shoe mold, door installation, building window jams/ window trim.
Raised and set manufactured homes.
Installed home anchors, did some electrical wiring.
I was a detention Deputy with the Rutherford County Sheriffs office from August 3rd 2013 to August 17th 2022. I maintained the safety and security of the inmates housed inside the facility, as well as helped maintain a clean and safe working environment for those that I worked with.
Part of my responsibilities also included keeping and maintaining records of inmate movement in and out of the facility from my assigned post. I would log inmate movement on and off the floor. For example an outside appointment ( court, out of county court, programs, outside doctors appointment etc. )
I would write reports due to certain events like a fight, medical emergency etc. I would conduct hourly walkthroughs of the pods where inmates are housed, and conduct facility count.
I would perform pat down searches of incoming inmates ( intakes ). As well as pat down searches of inmates coming onto and off the floor.
I would escort medical staff for insulin and medication pass.
I was also an FTO ( Field Training Officer ). It was my responsibility to familiarize new deputies with the facility and its surroundings and how the jail operated while also making sure they were prepared for any situation that would occur. I would teach handcuffing techniques in rollcall for new and veteran officers. I would also assist in facility shakedowns ( or searches ).
I had several jobs when working at sky high sports.
I would assist in the set up of the projector in the conference room when it was needed.
I would maintain the cleanliness of the foam pit and trampolines.
I would act as liaison for private parties in the private court section.
I worked on the maintenance team, meaning I would replace broken springs on the trampolines, clear out debris and dust from underneath them I would restock the vending machines, clean the floors and restrooms.
I was also part of the snack bar team. I would do food prep, cook meals, run the cash register, clean dishes and stock. At the end of each shift I would assist others in removing trash from the facility and on occasion assist the general manager and managers with counting and placing the money in the safe.
I worked part time at New Vision Baptist Church approximately starting in 2008 to 2013. My job requirements were as follows, making sure that the parking lot was clean of debris and other trash before the early service on Sundays. I would clean and stock the bathrooms throughout the facility before, in-between, and after services. I would collect all trash throughout the church and dispose of it. I would sweep and mop the floors, wax and buff the floors, vacuum and clean the carpets, and clean/ organize classrooms. I would also fix the vacuums when they would break. I was also tasked with cleaning/ preparing the Pastors office/ restroom before and after services.
I have a lot of janitorial experience cleaning bathrooms, floors etc I have experience in dry wall mudding/patch work I can replace electrical sockets, install ceiling fans, blinds etc I have experience laying flooring and shoe molding I can install new shower heads if needed Basic handyman work
