  • Powerplant: Inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Powerplant components and systems, such as reciprocating and turbine engines, carburetors, fuel controls, propellers, induction, exhaust, ignition/starting.
  • Structures: Inspect, fabricate, and repair aircraft structures utilizing structural repair manuals and drawings. Fabricate metallic repairs utilizing proper techniques of forming bending, hole preparation, and fastener installation. Proper preparation and layup of composite repairs utilizing wet lay-up and prepreg materials, hot bond techniques, and adhesives.
  • Airframe: Inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing of airframe components and systems, such as hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical systems, flight controls, landing gear, emergency systems, ice/rain protection, and fire suppression systems.
  • Avionics/Electrical: Training in principles and testing of NAVCOMM, Pitot/Static systems, and instruments utilizing specialized test equipment as well as ETOPS and EWIS familiarization. Analyzing and troubleshooting advanced electrical systems utilizing schematics and wiring diagrams.
