Cancer research
As a Senior Resident in the Pathology Department, I am responsible for a wide range of diagnostic and clinical duties. I perform detailed analyses of histopathology, hematology and cytopathology specimens, delivering accurate diagnoses to guide patient management. My role involve collaborating with clinicians in multidisciplinary teams, participating in tumor board discussions, and ensuring timely reporting of results. I also supervise and train junior residents and technicians, ensuring quality control in laboratory processes.
Additionally, I am involved in teaching medical students and interns, breaking down complex pathology concepts into manageable learning modules. My responsibilities extend to research activities, where I contribute to various projects, particularly in molecular pathology and oncology, while keeping updated with the latest advancements in the field. This combination of diagnostic, teaching, and research responsibilities helped me develop a comprehensive skill set in both clinical and academic pathology.

During my MD in Pathology, I achieved several milestones that enriched both my academic and professional growth. I actively participated in numerous conferences, where I presented research findings through poster and oral paper presentations. These presentations covered key topics in pathology, including advancements in diagnostic techniques and cancer research, showcasing my ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to peers and experts in the field.
In addition, I conducted in-depth research on various pathology topics, with a particular focus on molecular pathology and biomarkers in cancer diagnosis. My research contributions were not only integral to my own academic development but also aimed at advancing the understanding of disease mechanisms, particularly in oncology. These experiences allowed me to sharpen my critical thinking, data analysis, and scientific writing skills, laying a strong foundation for my future career as a pathologist and researcher.
