Profilesummary

Possessing counselling skills is who I am. The age, the counselling models and the experience of counselling a thousand different people had given me the ease to understand people and their problems and to help them widen their horizon and to make them see the various pathways that they could take alongside the problem that they have., The process of understanding the feelings and needs of the associate and to address their physical, emotional and financial constraints without compromising on the policies and values of my organization., Recruitment, is another stronghold. Recruitment is part of my Job profile both at CSS Corp and at Prime India. Choosing the right people for the right job is important. I think, I have the psychological edge to identify people through their appearance, body language and voice tone to identify their attitude and basic personal traits and to place them for the right job., Resolving disputes, conflict resolution and helping the HR in initiating or avoiding a disciplinary action is another area that I have been involved with in TCS as a psychologist and also in my previous company. Again, active listening, appropriate communication tactics and a usable plan to manage conflict are some of the tools that I use to resolve conflicts., My stint at CSS Corp as a billable resource has given me empathy towards work and work culture. Also, as a psychologist, I am empathetical to employee struggles. This had helped me to take non-biased decisions even in TCS in helping associates manage their workloads and to promote a positive work-life environment which is an innate skill required in HR functions., Even though, I was not actively involved in psychometrics, this is one another area where I could use my skills to create questionnaires, test their reliability and validity and to administer them during recruitments to choose the right candidate for the right job., An active advisor to HR in providing suggestions and guidance on HR issues within an organization. I work with members of staff, liaison with HR offering support and expertise on employee relations, employee engagement and emotional wellbeing of the employees.
