Roles And Responsibilities

Warehouse Management:
  • Conducted regular stock audits in the warehouse and planned uninterrupted material supply schedules, ensuring no production loss due to material non-availability.
  • Managed the entire store process, including handling Goods Receipt & Goods Issue (GR&GI) documents and modifying the inward process layout for improved efficiency.
  • Prepared, reviewed, and submitted stock statements & consumption reports to Management.
  • Raised awareness about Engineering Order (EO) changes and closely monitored compliance to achieve zero 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) violations.
  • Defined inventory levels in terms of values and days, simplifying operations for store personnel and maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Communicated with suppliers about short and excess supplies, making strategic decisions to manage inventory and support production needs.

Planning Control:

  • Collaborated with the sales team to obtain customer plans and convert them into detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and sharing with suppliers.
  • Released purchase orders (POs) based on the monthly production plan, ensuring timely procurement of materials.
  • Monitored the monthly plan versus actual production status.
  • Responded to additional plan increases by assessing supplier stock levels and coordinating with suppliers to meet the increased demand promptly.
