Ryan Garrett

Thompson's Station

Summary

I have spent 19 years working in IT with at least 3 years working directly with accountants. Surgery Partners' primary function is to manage the bookkeeping and billing systems of the surgery centers they acquire. I managed the development teams responsible for pulling information from over 100 GLs into a sql backed data warehouse. In this position I was also responsible for integrations with Surgery Partners' bulk invoice processing vendor. My teams and I worked closely with our internal accountants regarding how they wanted information from our billing systems pulled and used in their forecasting models, revenue, accounts receivable, etc.

Working with different groups to solve problems is something I find enjoyable. There's nothing like solving a real problem and watching your shared solution grow. At Surgery Partners I worked closely with both internal and external audit, treasury, accounting, hr, marketing and our billing teams on many objectives. At Healthways I worked closely with Product Development and the call center operators.

I am a problem solver at heart with a proven track record of accomplishing difficult tasks. At Surgery Partners, I was promoted from AVP to VP due to my success building out ServiceNow and internal web applications. At Healthways I was promoted from Sr. Developer to Solution Architect because of my ability to solve technical problems. At Saltworks I am designated as the go-to person for helping solve technical issues encountered by our Fortune 100 clients.
